Show us your stuff has a fun challenge this month.

I decided since this month we celebrated mothers day, which also this year happened to be the 10 year anniversary of my mothers passing.  I would do a page on her.  The poem I used is one I always think of when I remember her.

If Roses grow in Heaven
Lord, please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.

Tell her that I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.

Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away.

Charms creations - May

Have you seen the new emoji over at Charms creations?? They are very cute, but I didn't see them on my layouts. Until the design team posted their creations and I thought "I have to try this"

Charm creations has a challenge this month to test run this emojis so I put in a order and attempted this scrapbooking challenge!

How cute is that emoji! and what a wonderful way to express the emotions from the photos! I know these cute little embellies will be used alot more in the future.

Scrapbooking Top 50

Scrapbooking Top 50 has a fun colour challenge this month.  It is a Tic Tac Toe colour challenge.  All you need to do is pick three is a row.

Which row would you pic????

I chose the row pink, yellow and blue.  This is my scrapbooking layout I did for this challenge.

White with 1/stuck May

This month White with 1 has a colour challenge I don't use that often.  But I feel its good to push yourself out of your comfort zone and I have actually enjoyed working with this colour lately.

I teamed the colour challenge up with a sketch challenge and I chose a  Stuck?! sketch

I decided to rotate the sketch because I really wanted to scrapbook a photo of our latest visit to Taronga zoo.  

We just love a trip to the zoo, it is such a fun day and I wish we could go more often

Rainbow splendor May

Rainbow splendor has a very cute mood board this month. (well they actually have two).

The mood board is to coincide with the kit release.  I love rainbow splendor products so I couldn't wait to have a play.
